Karen Laing Managing Director of Lady Anne Funerals Sydney has worked in the industry in the West Ryde, Eastwood, Epping, Ryde, North Ryde, East Ryde, Ermington, Rydalmere, Meadowbank, Gladesville & Hunters Hill areas.

Karen first started her career as a funeral director with another organisation in Eastwood as the manager of the location in 1995, where she took care of all of the arrangements for the family who lost a loved one. Karen also took care of families wishing to prepay their own funeral.

Karen found she had a passion for the funeral industry and on many occasions, spoke of opening her own funeral home one day. Well one day came in 2005 when Lady Anne Funerals Sydney commenced operating.

Karen realises that there was a need to put back service in the industry. The person who arranges the funeral with the family is the person who handles all of the arrangements with the relevant organisations and takes care of all of the family needs. That person will always be on the funeral as an attendant or conductor.
